Zombie Football

The Big Show is the premier football event of the year, and one the Russians feel would be the perfect place to begin their attacks.

Two former friends, now rivals, pitted against one another on the playing field, are forced to fight the madness when the SVR’s plans are unleashed… and a zombie horde takes over the stadium!

Daily Writing Goals – The Next 9 Days

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July, I know I did… and I also took off Friday to do some swimming, shopping and hanging out with my Special Gal and my daughter… but now it’s Saturday and it’s time to get back to work.

I’ve been once again contracted for a writing project which is a bit different from what I usually do, but it is still right up my alley. It’s a thriller, with plenty of action and dialogue, and (like the last four I did, including Miami Spy Games) it reads like a movie or TV show. Maybe someday this one will become one or the other, right?

Once again I am on a tight schedule for the first draft, which is 30,000 words in 14 days. I’m also working on other stories, and decided to do what I do best: post up a public challenge to myself to complete not only this project, but two others at the same time.

I’m about 7,500 words into the new one (which I’ll call New One… but I hope that isn’t the title they use), so my daily goals are:

2,500 words daily on New One from today through Sunday July 14th – giving me 30,000 words

1,000 words per day on Golden Lion Cafe Part 4 today through Wednesday July 10th – 5,000 words

500 words on “Dagon,” the fourth Keyport Cthulhu short story from today through Thursday July 11th to finish it at 5,000 words

So, 4,000 words a day for the next week or so during crunch time… can I do it? I better, because it is now set in stone… or online… same thing… I’ll see you on the other side.
