“Dirty Deeds” #KindleScout Day 1 – How’d I Do?
No, I’m actually asking… I have no clue if what I’m doing is working and will lead me to an Amazon contract. This is all very fun and exciting and nerve-wracking all at once.
Kindle Scout’s program updates once a day at about 5am EST apparently. Good thing I didn’t stay up and wait for it… but I almost did, refreshing the page every 18.6 seconds just in case I missed it. I guess each morning I’ll now run to my computer and see where I stand.
OK, so after a full day of pimping the book (and with a full 29 more left to do this – I’m not sure my nerves can take it!) I ended up with:
23 of 24 hours listed as a Hot book
I want to think that is awesome and amazing and will lead to a contract for Dirty Deeds, but… anyone else have any data they can share with me about a first day and the rest of the campaign? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
