SPOTLIGHT ON: Addie J. King
How did you get involved in the upcoming Imaginarium convention?
I noticed several friends were involved in programming, and I really like traveling to Louisville. This will be my third convention in that city this year. I was involved with Fandom Fest, so I got to chatting with Stephen Zimmer on Facebook about that con, and we began talking about Imaginarium, and I couldn’t resist!
What is your latest release and what genre is it?
My latest release is THE WONDERLAND WOES, which is Book Three of THE GRIMM LEGACY series. It’s contemporary fantasy, but as with most of my books there’s a bit of mystery and/or courtroom drama in it as well. It qualifies as New Adult.
Quick description of it
THE WONDERLAND WOES finds Janie Grimm and her friends, including Bert the frog, traveling to Wonderland to rescue their friend Allie from the dangers of the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, and the Jabberwocky. It’s a dangerous journey, that involves capture and escape, a trial over some “stolen” tarts, and the deadly nightslip mushrooms they find along the way.
Something unique about it
I introduced Funyons to Wonderland. Yup. All my fault.
No, seriously, it’s a fun story, with some adventure, and continues the funny and yet serious adventures of Janie Grimm and her friends, who have fairy tales coming to life all around them as they try to get through law school.
