Quick Description:  

It is a book about child sex trafficking.  Maelea is a young girl in Camodia, living with her parents and sister. When her younger sister becomes sick with dengue fever, Maelea is sold to a brothel.   The next two years detail horrific torture and sexual abuse before one horrifying act of terror acts as a saving grace.

Something Unique About It:  

It is written in first person by a young girl who is currently experiencing sexual, physical and mental abuse as a result of child sex trafficking.

Short Bio:
