Jack de Golia, “The Voice of Character,” grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, a 5th-generation Californian. But, after getting his drama degree from UC Davis, Jack headed east– into the West. He had 35-year career as a federal fire-fighter, park ranger, and public affairs officer. These jobs took him to national park units like Capitol Reef, Lava Beds, Craters of the Moon, and Yellowstone. He worked as a public affairs officer for the Bureau of Land Management in Arizona and later for the U.S. Forest Service in Montana. He also was a fire information officer on many fires, all over the country, in his federal career.
