Ivy Vines, has a few things to say to the author after book one of her series was completed.

So, Mrs. Serrano, what made you decide to make the setting of the book in Sedona Arizona?

For starters, Ivy, Sedona has these great vortex areas that are known for paranormal activity. Besides its intense beauty, I thought that a book about psychics or seers, as I call them, couldn’t take place anywhere else.

Well, I really can’t complain. It is a wonderful place to live. There is one thing that I would really like to know. Does Eli ever really fall in love with me?

That is a good question. Men like Eli are rarely open books. That is why good girls tend to fall for them. The temptation to fix them can be overwhelming.

Tell me something. Is there going to be a book two and will I stay with the man of my dreams?

Yes, Ivy, there is a book two and I can never really be sure where the protagonist is going to take me. It will ultimately be your decision.

Oh, I like that. I know I’m not supposed to ask, but will my son be okay?

I can honestly say that your son will have his day in the sun, (so to speak) in one of my future books. He will make his own way into the world. Just wait. You will see.

Do you have any advice for me as I embark on yet another journey?

The truth is that I don’t really write the books. I sit down at my MacBook and let my characters take me on their very own, personal journey. So, keep your head up, don’t loose sight of where you are in life, and love as hard as you can for as long as you can. You simply never know when the ride will be over.

Blurb:

Moving to Sedona was the only way Ivy could think of to start over. She would meet her high school sweetheart and work on making things right between them. Her psychic abilities were gradually becoming a curse and she needed a new start. Little does she know that when she applies for a waitressing job at a local, upscale French bistro, she will come in contact with the dark and mysterious Eli Dubois. What she doesn’t realize is she has just walked into the middle of the Vortex Murders, which involve a great deal of paranormal activity. Elijah’s army of seers are being murdered, one by one, which seems to be magnifying Ivy’s special abilities.

Eli’s best friend, Jake, arrives on the scene and reveals the secret that changes everything. With nowhere to turn, Ivy leans on the two men who offer her solace. And who is the old woman in the shroud? Is she a vision, a dream, or is she real? Only time will tell.
