SPOTLIGHT ON: Rafael L. Lopez

How did you get involved in the Authors Supporting Our Troops event?

The event was recommended to me by my mother and fellow author, Lori R. Lopez.

What is your latest release and what genre is it?

My latest release is “A World Of Words”, which is a collection of fantasy poetry.  I am working on some new projects for this year, including another poetry volume, a short-story series, and a novel.

A World Of Words (small cover)

Quick description of it.

“A World Of Words” is a collection of fantasy poetry about various subjects such as nature, war, honor, writing, art and more.  It is all part of a detailed project I have been developing since age 11.  There will be a series of novels and other works as well as the poetry books.

Something unique about it.

The poetry is written by fictitious poets I created as part of “The World Of Eath” that I am creating.  In the back of the book are short bios for each of them, telling of their writing styles and personal histories.

Your short Bio.

Rafael L. Lopez is a poet, writer, actor, artist, and knight who resides in Southern California when not off crafting magic within his world of Eath. Inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, he began developing a book series titled THE LEGEND OF MIRALD from age eleven, along with short stories and a collection of poems for Eath, thereafter inventing the names and lives of fictitious poets with different styles and voices. A WORLD OF WORDS is Rafael’s debut title, a volume of verse introducing his elaborate fantasy.
