Spotlight On: A.R. Miller #ASOT2014
SPOTLIGHT ON: A.R. Miller
How did you get involved in the Authors Supporting Our Troops event?
The zombielicous, Rachel Aukes pointed me to this awesome cause. I have the greatest respect for our troops. They are a big part of the reason we get to read what we want to read and write what we want to write.
What is your latest release and what genre is it?
Unenchanted—Urban Fantasy.
Quick description of it.
Unenchanted picks up where Disenchanted left off, Keely locked up for using her Talents—in self-defense, of course—for murder. The stipulations for her release include a death-dealing collar to keep her from using her Talents and a reluctant babysitter who’d rather see her dead.
Something unique about it.
I’d grown tired of the typical twenty-something, kick-butt detectives in urban fantasy and wanted a character I could relate to, with a non-tradition UF job. A middle-aged, elven salon owner with the power to manipulate dead tissue is the result.

A.R. Miller lives in Iowa with her husband and feline companion, finding ways to torture characters and drive readers crazy with cliffhanger endings.
