Spotlight On: J.B. Wolfe

What is your latest release and what genre is it?

My latest is “Squeeze”, released on October 23rd, a paranormal thriller.  I also have “Waite for Midnight” released a month earlier in September of this year.

Quick description of it.

In every person’s life there is a moment which uniquely defines him or her. A moment that divides life into “before” and “after”, a single point in their lives which will change them forever—a threshold moment which, once the threshold is crossed, completely changes everything about a person. For Wendy Calloway, a one-time vocalist recovering from the hellish car accident that claimed her mother’s life and her father’s mind, the greatest “threshold moment” of her life is the moment in which her life is ended. Slain by the diabolical serial murderer known as the “Squeeze Killer”, Wendy finds herself catapulted into the “unseen world”, now a disoriented, disembodied spirit who must come to terms with her afterlife before she can succumb to the overwhelming desire to mete out justice to her killer.

Something unique about it.

In today’s flooded market of vampires and werewolves, the story of Wendy Calloway is a completely different, more mature take on the world of the supernatural.

Your short Bio.

J.B. is an avid reader with a voracious appetite for stories of far-flung adventure filled with sultry femme fatales and stone-faced antiheroes. J.B. has been a artist, an infantry paratrooper in the jungles of Central America, and a railroader in the cold Appalachians – traveling throughout the American south before finally settling down to bring his pen to bear on paper. His work very often blurs the lines that separate hero and villain, baring the tenebrous humanity in the characters that he writes. J.B. resides in his treasured state of Florida, where he is thoroughly committed to slowly acquiring a sprinkling of beach sand in every room of his home.
