SPOTLIGHT ON: Robert Chazz Chute
What is your latest release and what genre is it?
This Plague of Days, Season Two
Quick description of it.
When a worldwide pandemic flu virus evolves, terrorists turns ordinary people into rampaging bio-weapons AKA zombies. Europe has fallen to the infected hordes. Meanwhile, a family from Missouri flees looters and marauders. Season One was the siege. The Spencer family feared other people. Now, a new threat has evolved and the invasion of America has begun. The only person who can stop humanity’s end is Jaimie Spencer, a 17-year-old boy on the autism spectrum.
Something unique about it.
The autistic hero is unique. He’s got an obsession with dictionaries and gets lost in words and meanings. He also sees auras. I’ve received some really nice mail from families with autistic and developmentally delayed family members who relate to Jaimie Spencer’s worldview. Between an unlikely protagonist and all the Latin proverbs, it’s an unusual zombie novel.
